Ron's passion for cooking flourished into Geiger Culinary Services, Inc.
Chef Ron Geiger is a graduate of the University of Illinois and also The Culinary and Hospitality Institute of Chicago. At an early age, he began his love for fresh vegetables and meats while growing up on his parent's farm in southern Illinois. Ron's 12 years of experience in the food industry includes: restaurant, laboratory sensory testing, new product development, kitchen cookware testing, and a new restaurant start up which included menu development, cost analysis, established vendor relations, orchestrated /advised kitchen layout, and set up menu specifications and the development of a training manual. Ron is also working with his wife on her cookbook.
Ron consults and works closely with various chefs in the Chicago area. These chefs are graduates of Culinary Institute of America, Johnson and Wales, Kendall College, Illinois Institute of Art and The Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago.
